_Our client currently has an exciting opportunity for an Apprentice Engineer to join their team in Watford_

You will be working towards gaining a recognised Level 2 Engineering Operative qualification through your Apprenticeship, as well as receiving on the job training._

Salary:
Up to £7.50 per hour

Working hours: 4 days per week (8am - 4.45pm)

About the Company:

Our client is a leading manufacturer of Aerospace and Defence assemblies using machining and salt dip brazing.

Established for many years, they are one of the worlds few Salt dip brazing companies and are currently undergoing a strong growth period throughrecent investment.

Apprentice Engineer Duties:

This role is very much about being hands on, learning all aspects of the business from concept to delivery to the customer:

Be part of the team of Engineers
Learn all aspects of the salt dip brazing process
Understand hand finishing of metal components
Learning to operate CNC machines (under supervision)
Keen to become an Engineer
Potentially working with them in the longer term, looking to progress in the industry
Willingness to learn
Good sense of humour
Good work ethic, driven and motivated to succeed
Reliable and punctual
Good literacy and numeracy skills
