Band 3 point 6 -11 £21968- £24,054 (FTE). Actual Salary Point 6 £18,701

36.25 hours per week, term time only, plus INSET days.

Due to an expansion of our team, Sale High School is looking to appoint 2 Cover Supervisors to support students in their progress and attainment.

About the Role:
To work under the direct instruction of the School Operations Manager and the Deputy Head:

Providing supervision of tutor groups and classes in the case of teacher absence
Working under guidance of teaching staff to support agreed work programmes with individuals or groups of students
Communicating work set by teachers to the pupils responding to any questions from them about processes and procedures
Managing the behaviour of students whilst they are undertaking work to ensure a constructive work environment

About You:
You will have significant experience of supervision of young people, ideally in an educational environment

You will also need:

Good numeracy and literacy skills (GCSE grade C/4 or above)
Knowledge of safeguarding
To be able to work effectively as part of a team
Ability to enthuse and engage young people
Experience of working under pressure and to tight deadlines
Flexibility and resilience
