Personal Advisor - Grade C3


An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Leeds Care Leavers Service for a committed and enthusiastic Personal Advisor to join the service.

Leeds Care Leavers Service was recently inspected by Ofsted and achieved an 'Outstanding' grade for the service we provide.


Personal Advisors work with Care Leavers aged 17 and a half years to 25 years of age, providing support, guidance and practical assistance to transition to independence.

Personal Advisors hold an allocated case load of young people and undertake pathway plan reviews, statutory visits and contact with care leaves and provide a range of practical and emotional support.


The overall ambition of the service provided is to ensure that the young people we support are offered the best preparation for independence, support to live resilient independent lives and provide a safety net of support and care.

The Personal Advisor role is challenging but offers great rewards.

The Care Leaver service strives to offer our care leavers the best possible interventions to ensure excellent outcomes for the young people we support.

The service is structured with 6 teams led by experienced social work qualified managers and supported by an Advanced Practitioner.
