Ontic, an aerospace industry leading provider of 'Extended Life Solutions' for Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) legacy and non-core products, has an exciting opportunity for a Stores Operative to join our growing team based at our Staverton, Gloucestershire site.

In this role, you'll be accountable to the Stores Line Manager for contributing to the efficient running of the Stores function, and ensuring correct procedures are carried out in the storage and issue of materials.

What will you be doing?

You'll be issuing materials in line with agreed procedure in order to meet production and customer requirements as well as kitting work orders to Shop Floor.

You'll be expected to maintain accurate stock records on the ERP system by carrying out regular stock control as required and ensure stores are always kept clean/tidy and HSE and Quality regulations are adhered to at all times.

You'll also continually seek areas for improvement to processes and service delivery as well as provide general support to the Stores Manager and Stores team undertaking a variety of tasks as allocated.

What will you already know/have?

You'll be an enthusiastic team player who has the aptitude and drive to develop a first-class Stores solution. You'll have previous experience of working in a store's environment and working knowledge of stock control systems. You'll be computer literate and able to use ERP systems. Experience of working in aerospace / manufacturing environment (desirable)
