Are you an Infrastructure Engineer looking for your next opportunity?

We are looking for an Infrastructure Engineer who will be responsible for the implementation, support, and maintenance of all existing and future infrastructure.

You will be based at the client's Newport site, you will ensure alignment of all IT infrastructureaspects at the site in accordance with a unified approach.

What you'll be doing:

Managing any incidents, requests, changes and problems
Management of the server environment / estates
Maintenance and production of technical documentation to facilitate knowledge share and skills development
Proactively monitor the environments for issues
Server Availability Planning in line with requirements
Install and assemble any infrastructure hardware

What you'll bring:

Strong knowledge of Wintel computer hardware & operating systems (Windows 2012, 2016, 2019)
Virtualisation, VMware ESXi 7.x, including vSphere Compliance and right sizing
Windows DNS & DHCP, with a good understanding of both principles
TCP/IP troubleshooting skills
Active Directory, Group Policy and Scripting Knowledge
Windows Server patching using WSUS and
SCCM

It would be great if you had:

Experience involving multiple Operating System vendors
Microsoft Certifications (MCP, MCITP, MCSE, MCSA, MCTS)
Linux/Unix basic skills
