Salary:
£28,178 - £38,054 (FTE) per annum


Hourly Rate:
£ £19.78 per hour, plus holiday and prep uplift

(Salary dependent on qualifications and experience)


Contract:
Fractional, Permanent (part-time post, 10 hours a week)


Required:
Immediate start available


Working schedule:
This is a part-time post, up to 10 hours available with some evening teaching required. We are willing to be flexible where possible with the working hours.


The post holder will be expected to:

  • Be confident to teach basic digital & employability skills
  • Work independently
  • Demonstrate excellent organisational and interpersonal skills
  • Be confident teaching mixed level adult classes
  • Closely monitor students' progress and alert relevant parties to emerging issues
  • Have recent experience of teaching in the Further Education Sector
  • Hold a DTLLS, PCET, PGCE or QCF Level 5 Diploma in Education, or demonstrate a commitment to obtain an equivalent qualification on the job
  • Have experience developing growing provisions and of writing schemes of work
