Pipefitter/Plumber/Heating Engineer

Location:
Bicester, Oxfordshire

My Client is a leading M&E and Building Services Contractor specialising in the engineering and construction sectors.

We are looking to recruit Pipefitters and Plumbers with Heating and Ventilation qualifications experienced across commercial and industrial installation including plantrooms.

Job Overview:

As a Pipefitter/Plumber you will be required to travel to the clients existing and new portfolio of commercial and industrial contracts across Oxfordshire, London and the South West on installation projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Execute pipefitting and plumbing installations with a primary emphasis on plant rooms, ensuring adherence to technical specifications and safety standards.
To be able to work from schematic drawings and lay out, fit, and install plant, pipework and components within plant rooms and associated areas.
Ensure any work is to current legal, national, industry standards.

Safely, efficiently & accurately operate a variety of hand-held and power tools.

Confidence in dealing with subcontractors to IOD onsite to ensure the job runs smoothly, with no break in productivity.
To have the ability to deal with and overcome onsite issues, installation problems and unforeseens in a professional manner.
Good customer facing skills are important to ensure the client and any PMs are kept informed of progress and to deal with any issues or other requirements that arise on site.
