Maidstone Central Primary Care Network is a network of NHS Medical Practices working together to improve the health and welfare of our registered population.

Our member practices include The Medical Centre, Bower Mount Medical Practice, The Vine Medical Practice and Brewer Street Surgeries which provide primary care to residents in the Maidstone Kent area.

Responsibilities:


  • Analyse existing processes and systems to identify areas of improvement across but not limited to patient access, integrated working, digital maturity and population health
  • Develop a digital transformation strategy that takes into account the current digital landscape of the PCN to improve patient and staff experience of systems
  • Develop plans for implementation of new technologies and processes to include training of staff
  • Lead workshops and meetings with stakeholders to discuss digital transformation plans
  • Conduct research into emerging technologies and trends in the industry.
  • Provide advice on the best solutions for the organisations digital transformation needs to the Clinical Directors and PCN Board members
  • Manage projects from start to finish, ensuring that all deadlines are met and regular progress reports are provided

Person Specification:

  • Experienced in establishing and embedding new IT software and processes in health care organisations
  • Good understanding of the Digital agenda within the NHS and Social Care or Care Sector
  • NHS Experience is essential however we would consider applicants from private healthcare sector
  • Strong communication skills

Desirable experience:

  • Previous Primary Care employment
  • Experience of Population Health Analysis
