Financial Reporting Manager role now available for global law firm.

This is a business facing role so you will be liaising with and establishing relationships across the firm with a wide variety of stakeholders.

As the Financial Reporting Manager you will be responsible for the supervision and workload of employees in the areas of general ledger maintenance/training, system balancing, period-end closings, financial reporting analysis, budgeting, foreign office accountingand financial statement preparation, property, plant & equipment accounting, account reconciliations and disbursement entry.

Key responsibilities

Manages the financial and management accountants, including managing workload, conducting performance reviews, and all other people management responsibilities as necessary.
Oversees the maintenance of the general ledger and all associated cost/ledger code mapping/masking, as well as the Chart of Accounts
Review and approval of journal entries, system balancing, period end closings, reconciliations of balance sheet accounts, generation of global and local financial statements
Oversees foreign office accounting and financial reporting
Oversees the various yearend statutory audits and liaises with the external auditors as required
Performs other duties as assigned and assists in special projects as needed
Maintaining regular contact with other teams across the department.
