This professional membership organisation is recruiting an interim Facilities Assistant, a varied blend of front-of-house, building maintenance, and office support responsibilities.


Key Responsibilities of the Facilities Assistant:

  • Greet visitors arriving onsite and act as the first point of contact for all staff and students regarding events taking place in the building, assisting with related administration.
  • Answer incoming calls via the switchboard, redirecting to staff as appropriate.
  • Manage courier collections and deliveries, and oversee other post responsibilities.
  • Monitor and maintain campus safety by providing secure access for students, staff, and visitors.
  • Contribute to upkeep of building, alerting team members to any safety issues.
  • Act as an ambassador for the institution.
  • Adhoc administrative duties.

Skills and Experience Required:


  • Previous experience in facilities role, working within a team and able to act with mínimal supervision too.
  • Experience with facetoface customer interaction, excellent communication skills, and previous switchboard experience an advantage.
  • The ability to prioritise tasks with strong time management and organisation skills.
  • Able to multitask in a fastpaced environment.

Salary and Details:

- c£13 per hour.

  • Fulltime, temporary position with an immediate start and lasting for up to 6 months.
  • Based in Central London.
