Description

As a specialist logistics service provider (NOT a multi-drop operation), we are seeking additional self-employed co-driver, to become part of our Two-man teams that cover the South West of England and Wales.

• Assist and support the driver to perform and complete the jobs safely and in a timely manner.
• Interact with customers in a professional manner
• Complete daily maintenance checks on delivery van and notify manager of any issues
• Loading and unloading the vehicle, taking account of the delivery order and making sure that items are easily accessible.
• Checking that all of the items are accounted for against delivery sheets.
• Examining the vehicle before setting off, checking the load is safe.
• Telephoning customers or engineers to confirm the delivery times.
• Navigating and advising the driver about diversions.
• Helping unload goods at the delivery point.
• Removing packaging and placing items at the customer's request.
• Obtaining delivery signatures from customers.

• Motivated and reliable
• Must be able to handle heavy items with the aid of appropriate equipment
• Attention to details

• Free parking

• Monday to Friday

• Delivery driver experience: 2 years (preferred)
• Driving: 2 years (preferred)

• Driving Licence (preferred)
