This is an exciting opportunity to join a rapidly growing research programme concerning children and young people's mental health; the ChARM group.

The post-holder will be based in Cambridge and work as a Research Assistant to support a National Institute for Health and Care Research (NIHR) funded programme, "ATTEND", led by Professor Tamsin Ford.

The ATTEND programme comprises of five interrelated work packages to evaluate a novel mindfulness intervention for adolescents with relapsed depression.


This post will be based in Cambridge supporting the successful running of a multisite hybrid clinical and cost-effectiveness randomised controlled trial (work package 3), under the direction of the Site Lead Tamsin Ford, the Trial Manager, Gemma Giove Hunt, and the Programme Manager, Dr Rachel Hayes.

This will include supporting the Cambridge site's recruitment and assessment of young people and carers, assisting with intervention delivery, and data entry and management.

The postholder will also liaise with the wider study team including collaborators at the University of Cambridge and several other universities and NHS trusts, such as Exeter, King's College London, Sussex, Oxford, Nottingham, Surrey, and Bradford.

Fixed-term: The funds for this post are available for 1 years in the first instance.
