Warehouse operative / Forklift Driver

Rochester

Hours:
Rotational

Days Mon-Fri

Nights Sun-Thurs

Over 40 hours is time and a half

Sunday is double pay

Salary:
£25,022 based on 40 hours

Warehouse Operative & Fork lift driver
You will require a valid Counterbalance FLT licence and recent experience.

This role will require you to use pick lists and locate goods using order paperwork, so attention to detail and accuracy is important.

Role:

Ensure all processing operations are performed in accordance with prescribed quality
Stay up to date with Legislation
Strive to ensure warehouse is kept tidy
Help manage change in either process or machinery
Ensure everything is done to minimise and improve the operation's impact on the environment
Contribute to and assist in the writing and implementation of SOP's, SSOW's and Risk assessments
Ensure that you report all Near Misses either safety or environmental
Be actively involved in the investigation of all accidents and incidents
Ensure all Safety Checks are completed and reported on.

Ensure you are wearing the right PPE for task undertaken
