_Recra are working in partnership_ with a well established award winning business, they are keen to grow their team and are looking for a Site Supervisor to carry out general duties to ensure an efficient and continuous stream of materials through the site, whilst supervising the team based in London.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Oversee the daily running of the team
  • Ensure prestart checks are carried out on mobile and fixed plant
  • Ensure the team carry out essential daily maintenance including greasing, washing and cleaning
  • Sort and prepare materials for recycling
  • Operate and maintain plant, machinery and vehicles including forklift trucks, mobile plant, and other plant equipment
  • Manual handling of stock, parts and equipment
  • Operate in a safe manner at all times, in line with the companies Health and Safety policy
  • Allocation of staff to best meet the daytoday requirements of the plant
  • Ensure the area is kept environmentally compliant
  • Maintain a stock of plant consumables to minimise downtime
  • Ensure all staff are adhering to PPE Requirements, SOPs and health and safety procedures

  • Excellent leadership skills
  • Ability to create effective working relationships
  • Planning and organisation skills
  • Prioritise work load accordingly
  • Experience in waste industry
