The day to day duties include:1)Performance reporting - To be responsible for the provision of bi-monthly financial information to the SMT and the Board ensuring that the information is timely, relevant, accurate and supports the financial objectives.

2) Budgeting - Lead on preparation of the departmental and consolidated budgets for the company within an agreed timetable. Proactively contribute to cost base reviews and scenario planning.

3) Forecasting - Lead on the preparation of regular full year financial forecasts for the company and individual teams, giving advice to Directors and senior managers on financially managing to achieve agreed targets.

4) Accounts Receivable - Provide oversight over processing of revenue transactions, ensuring accurate, timely and efficient information.

5) Management Accounts - To contribute to production of high quality and timely reports for the SMT and the Board. Add value through interpretation of variances and trends and propose corrective action where necessary.

6) Financial Accounts - To manage the year end reporting process, including statutory accounts and audit to a high quality, ensuring that mínimal accounting and disclosure adjustments are made to the proposed accounts.

7) Payroll, Pensions and Tax compliance - To oversee the monthly payroll and pensions activities and ensure that RenewableUK complies with all necessary accounting technical standards and all relevant tax and pensions legislation, including Corporation Tax,Vat and PAYE/Benefits in kind.

8) Credit control - To minimise the amount of Accounts Receivable balances through management of efficient and proactive credit control processes.

9) Line Management - To provide effective supervision and coaching to the Finance Executive to develop their potential and improve efficiencies within the finance function.

10) Ad hoc projects - To work closely with senior managers and Directors on ad hoc projects, adding finance support and contributing towards achievement of our overall business objectives.
