MULTI AXIS CNC MILL/TURN SETTER OPERATOR and you are looking for your ideal role in a small and dedicated team then this is the job for you.

We are a growing niche manufacturing business working in the aerospace and defence sectors and one of the world's leading specialists in ballscrews based in Hinckley.

We manufacture for several high profile and long running aerospace programmes which provides steady long term work.

We also have an unenviable reputation across all commercial sectors for repair and refurbishment so our work is varied. We pride ourselves on our focus on customer service, quality and precision manufacturing.

This is a varied role which provides the opportunity to be involved across manufacturing, inspection, assembly and repair activity.


Responsibilities include:

• Setting & Operating Multi Axis CNC Mill/Turn, CNC Lathe, CNC Milling machines
• Making small adjustments to exisiting programmes using the latest Fanuc system (including Manual Guide i) for small to medium production runs
• Manual turning/milling for oneoffs
• Making jigs, fixtures and tools for assembly
• Supporting assembly activity including inspection using digital imaging system
• Work with minimum supervision

What experience do you need?

• Fully qualified engineer with strong experience in aerospace or defence manufacturing would be welcome
• Experience of developing prototypes and small batch runs as well as small/miniature components
• Maintain a high level of housekeeping and good attention to detail
• We work to very high tolerances so accuracy is important
• Assembly/disassembly experience would be an advantage
• Additional experience of operating manual lathes would be ideal
