Description

You will participate in the provision of a responsive, needs-led mental health assessment and short-term intervention service to young people aged yrs presenting to the General Hospital following an episode of mental distress, mental illness and/or self harm and signposting to other support services if needed.


There will also be a teaching, education and support role, assisting non-mental health staff to respond to mental health needs more effectively.


You will hold a registered mental health qualification and be able to demonstrate post registration experience at Band 5 or above.

You will need to provide evidence of continual professional development.


The successful applicant will have excellent interpersonal skills, good communication skills, be IT literate and work across a multitude of clinical systems, RIO, e-Roster, Trakcare, Sunrise.

You will be responsible for handling highly confidential information.

There is an emphasis on continued professional development.
