Requirements of the Speech and Language Therapist/SLT:

  • Degree or equivalent within Speech and Language Therapy and HCPC registration
  • Recent post qualifying experience working as a Speech and Language Therapist

Main Duties:


  • This role is for a clinical dysphagia specialist who will be responsible for delivering a dysphagia service by providing dysphagia assessment and management
  • Developing the dysphagia pathway
  • Delivering training and clinical supervision
  • Overseeing that standards of service provision are set, monitored and maintained
  • The job will be based within the Community Learning Disabilities Teams.
  • These teams support everyone with a learning disability in Surrey including those living independently, with family, in care settings and in Surrey and Borders services
