Teaching Assistant - Reception Class (One-to-One Support)

Blackburn

Working Hours:
Monday to Friday, 8:45 am - 3:30 pm

Salary:
Competitive rates starting from £11.68 per hour

Responsibilities:
As a dedicated Teaching Assistant in our Reception class, you will play a crucial role in providing one-to-one support to a delightful child who is transitioning from nursery to reception

Your responsibilities will include:

Individualised Support: Offer personalised assistance to the child, helping them navigate the challenges of transitioning to the reception class.

Behavioural Support: Address and manage the child's frustration and behavioural concerns, fostering a positive learning environment.

Assist with Transition Activities: Collaborate with the class teacher to plan and implement activities that ease the child's transition and enhance their learning experience.

Safety and Well-being: Ensure the safety and well-being of the child during classroom activities and transitions.

Requirements:

Minimum grade 4 (C) in Maths or English
Relevant qualification within childcare
Minimum 12 weeks' experience within the last 5 years
1 reference from working in an educational setting
