Description

We have an exciting opportunity for an Import/Export and Compliance Officer to join our procurement team.

You will be joining an amazing team of passionate professionals based in the beautiful Yorkshire Dales, Nidderdale AONB

You will be responsible for managing the import & export process from start to finish.

You will ensure this is conducted efficiently and complies with international and domestic regulations and in accordance with HMRC customs regulations.

You will have a working knowledge and be responsible for ISO Quality Management throughout the organisation. This will include updating and maintenance of procedures whilst ensuring compliance within the standards.

Coordinate import/export shipment activities, including custom clearance and documentation
Monitor and analyse import/export data to identify compliance issues and take corrective action
Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
Develop, maintain and update internal policies and procedures in line with ISO standards
Conduct regular audits across all areas of regulatory compliance
Previous experience working in an import/export environment
Experience with import/export compliance including HMRC regulations
Previous experience with Quality Management including ISO accreditation and compliance
Strong administrative, organisational, and analytical skills
Excellent communication, numeracy and IT skills (Microsoft Office)

This is a full-time position

Salary negotiable dependant on experience

Office Hours hr Lunch break-unpaid).

Potential for hybrid working option

32 days leave including bank holidays and Xmas closure

£25,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
