Purpose of the Role

  • This role includes working with stakeholders (inside and outside of Group Procurement) to standardise/simplify specifications, define sourcing strategy, analyse RFP output, negotiate commercial terms and contract agreement drafting
  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure the best pricing, quality, and delivery of goods and services
  • Negotiate and manage contracts with suppliers, ensuring that all parties meet their obligations
  • Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and inventory
  • Evaluate supplier performance and recommend changes to improve quality, delivery, and costeffectiveness
  • Develop and implement sourcing strategies to meet business objectives
  • Analyze market trends and supply base to identify new opportunities for cost savings and process improvements
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to understand their needs and ensure timely delivery of goods and services
  • Provide regular reports on procurement performance, including cost savings and vendor performance
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as relevant laws and regulation
  • Work with airlines to identify transformational opportunities to drive automation and technology in order to improve efficiencies, punctuality and the customer experience
  • Influence investment by suppliers into the latest technology as well as automation
  • Work with airports to identify opportunities to make the customer experience more efficient and seamless and ensure they are adopting the latest technology to the benefit of our airlines

Qualifications:


  • Experience in purchasing preferred
  • Strong negotiation skills and the ability to manage multiple suppliers and contracts. Knowledge of procurement best practices, including strategic sourcing, supplier management, and contract management
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and make sound decisions
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
