Description

Level 1 Entry level QC and line QC

  • Understanding about product quality
  • Raising issues with fruit quality to Team leader
  • Packhouse QC process
  • Check raw stock before and after packing
  • Intake QC process
  • Label checking
  • Shelf life
  • Customer specification understanding
  • Fruit/stores temperature checks
  • Communicate with other departments

Level 2 Experienced QC, Packhouse and Intake

  • Shelf life
/daily cherry temps/audits (weekly/monthly)/ knifes & scissors log/scales shelf-life room air temperature

  • Aware of and inform relevant people/departments about any issues and changes
  • Daily tasks (Aqualutions checks etc.)
  • Following the customer specifications
  • Offsite QC checks
  • Run twolines in packhouse confidently
  • Cover when needed for print Room checking of labels
  • Able to work in different departments (for example fresh to dried or dried to fresh)

Knowledge and Skill Requirements:


  • Good fresh and dried fruit quality understanding
  • To be supportive and good teamwork
  • Attention to detail
  • Responsible and diligent
  • Flexible on covering someone or doing extra days when needed
  • Good communication skills


Working Shift is Tuesday to Saturday, Approximately 8 hours per day although this is dictated by production and can vary.

This is on an Annualised Hours contract.

£23,325.00-£24,579.00 per year
