Description

As a learning support assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing specialised support to children within a SEND provision.

Collaborating with a team of educators and professionals, you will contribute to creating a nurturing and inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide oneonone and group support to children with special educational needs.
Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and support staff to implement individualised support plans.
Foster a positive and inclusive atmosphere to enhance student's social and academic growth.
Monitor and document student progress, providing valuable feedback to the wider support team.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Learning Support Assistant, particularly in a special educational needs setting.
Empathy, patience, and a genuine commitment to the wellbeing and development of children with SEN.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to adapt to diverse learning styles and individual requirements.

To be considered for this role, we require:

Proof of Right to Work (Passport or Birth Certificate).
A CV covering 10 years of education or employment.
A fully enhanced DBS certificate or a willingness to process one with us (cost refunded).
