The role
As a Facilities Management Co-ordinator, you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary.
You will be making sure people are working efficiently and safely on site allowing everyone to make it home after work every day.
Day to day, you will be coordinating the facilities activities, working as part of a distinct dispersed facilities function supporting sites UK wide.
Based locally on operational sites, this role is the local facilities contact that manages in-house delivered activity and contractor delivered activities for sites in each region.
- Allocating resource efficiently to deliver labour utilisation targets.
- Monitoring of the FM system reports to continually monitor the status of FM work orders to allow timely communication to the end user.
- To manage the planned preventative maintenance (PPM) delivery business wide
- To liaise with contractors, ensuring safety and security procedures are complied with and inductions carried out to the required standard.
- To carryout monitoring of contractor's delivery and feedback/escalate substandard work through contract channels
Essential experience of the Facilities Management Co-ordinator:
- Professional qualification in a Facilities Management/building related discipline or extensive relevant and recent workplace experience in a similar role.
- Competent PC user (MS Office, MS Outlook, SharePoint, ERP system, FM Works)
Qualifications for the Facilities Management Co-ordinator:
- Educated to Level 4 in National Qualification Framework (NQF) as a minimum (Higher apprenticeship, HNC, Level 4 NVQ) or equivalent workplace experience.
