First Line IT Support Technician - Chesterfield - £23,000Chase & Holland are excited to be working exclusively with a market leading business based in Chesterfield who are looking for a First Line IT Support Technician to join their team on a full-time permanent basis.

As First Line IT Support Technician, you will be responsible for being the first point of contact for employees across the business, providing effective IT support and general maintenance to IT related hardware and software.

First Line IT Support Technician Responsibilities:

  • Provide 1st technical and desktop support to employees
  • Manage and respond to tickets using ServiceNow incident management tool
  • Perform user administration duties on Active Directory and other platforms
  • Provide resolution of user faults within a targeted fix time
  • Document and maintain IT Help Desk policies and procedures
  • Utilisation of remotecontrol software tools to provide fault resolution and diagnosis
  • Maintain the business Asset Register with equipment allocations, purchases, and disposals
  • Support IT Project Managers in the delivery of key business projects
  • Work with International technical teams within the business

Hours:
37.5 hours per week. Monday - Friday 8.45am - 5.00pm (45 mins lunch)


Required Skills & Experience:


  • Strong background working in a similar technical 1st line environment
  • Experience of mobile device management (Intune/KNOX) (Predominantly Android)
  • Experience of Office365 and Azure within a business environment
  • Experience of using a VOIP telephony system
  • Travel maybe occasionally required to support depot IT requirements across the UK
