    Description

    Digger Driver/Groundworker Job Description

    This is a permanent role for the local council in Bournemouth, Dorset.

    • Responsibilities include digging by hand, bending, turning, stretching, twisting and lifting; post holes, foundations, excavation for concrete, levelling by hand soil, concrete, hardcore.

    Additionally, the role involves loading of materials onto vehicle, manual lifting, dead lifting and high-level unloading; fence panels, removal of broken concrete sections, concrete fence posts, timber fence posts, timber fencing, feather edge, cant rails, timber gates, precast slabs, roll of chain link fencing and fly tipping removal.

    • The successful candidate will be expected to use power tools and hand tools.

    Required Skills and Qualifications

    The ideal candidate will have:
