Midlands Protection Services (MPS) Limited is currently recruiting for a day shift Security Officer in Coventry

Job purpose:

To provide security and support duties in a professional and courteous manner in line with both the client requirements and Midlands Protection's policies and procedures.

Duties include:

To provide and deliver a firstclass customer service to all Visitors, Site employees and contractors.
Patrolling on site (Internal & External on foot)
Ensure that all equipment is managed, used, monitored and reported defective in accordance with policies and procedures.
Ensuring all H&S policies are adhered to
Must be able to deal with confrontational situations professionally and be able to calm a situation down where possible.
You will be required to conduct patrols in allweather, making sure that all defects are reported through the correct channels.
Timely and accurate completion of log entries and reports
To undertake mandatory and statutory training as required.
To comply with all relevant policies, procedures and guidelines, including those relating to Equal Opportunities and Confidentiality of Information.

Requirements:

Excellent communication skills and a strong customer focus.
Must hold a valid SIA Frontline License.
Excellent communication & administration skills.
Must be punctual and have the ability to think on their feet.
Reliable with excellent timemanagement skills.
Smart, wellgroomed and confident.

Event Security Officers & Door Supervisors Required
Driving licence not essential but preferred.
