Damp and Mould Manager

Social Housing - North London

Permanent - Up to £44k plus benefits

Here at Howells we are working with a leading provider of Social Housing in North London to recruit a Damp and Mould Manager to join their team.

Key Duties:

Lead the damp and mould team, ensuring the organisation provides a high quality service, responsive to customer needs and changing demands.
Deliver regular team briefs/meetings to ensure that team members are aware of, and understand companywide issues that may impact on their role.
Ensure the team carry out damp and mould inspections and assessments in a thorough, timely and effective manner.
Physically carry out damp and mould inspections and assessments where service demand requires it, or where there are particularly complex cases.
Develop and implement a range of proactive and preventative measures to mitigate against damp and mould issues within the housing stock.
Ensure robust data and information is recorded on all damp and mould related activity.

Required skills & experience:

Extensive knowledge of property and construction methods, including the diagnosis and treatment of damp and mould.
Experience of managing projects, effecting change and operating ideally within the Social Housing or Public sector
