Damp and Mould Manager

Social Housing - North London

Permanent - Up to £44k plus benefits


Here at Howells we are working with a leading provider of Social Housing in North London to recruit a Damp and Mould Manager to join their team.


Key Duties:

  • Lead the damp and mould team, ensuring the organisation provides a high quality service, responsive to customer needs and changing demands.
  • Deliver regular team briefs/meetings to ensure that team members are aware of, and understand companywide issues that may impact on their role.
  • Ensure the team carry out damp and mould inspections and assessments in a thorough, timely and effective manner.
  • Physically carry out damp and mould inspections and assessments where service demand requires it, or where there are particularly complex cases.
  • Develop and implement a range of proactive and preventative measures to mitigate against damp and mould issues within the housing stock.
  • Ensure robust data and information is recorded on all damp and mould related activity.

Required skills & experience:

  • Extensive knowledge of property and construction methods, including the diagnosis and treatment of damp and mould.
  • Experience of managing projects, effecting change and operating ideally within the Social Housing or Public sector
