We have an exciting opportunity within our Business Support Service for a self-motivated Business Support Assistant, providing essential support to our practice staff members.

We are looking to recruit one full-time Business Support Assistant to provide support within the Corporate Parenting Service.


You will play an important role in the effective day to day running of the service we are looking for people who are well organised; have good attention to detail and who can work to and meet tight deadlines; you must be able to work effectively within a team environment, be customer and child focused and be able to deliver the role with a flexible approach.


About You.
You will be a 'can-do' person, who is passionate about high quality service delivery and performance.

You will be able to work effectively within a dedicated team environment, be customer focused and able to deliver the role with a flexible approach.

Key skills we will be looking for in your personal statement include:

  • Good literacy and numeracy skills.
  • Good basic IT skills.
  • Good Customer Carer skills.
  • The ability to independently interpret and analyse information and facts to solve varied problems.
  • The ability to work under pressure including meeting deadlines and dealing with interruptions.
  • The ability to communicate in person and/or in writing, a variety of information to a range of people.
  • The ability to manage a process, ensuring accurate and timely outputs.
  • The ability to use the keyboard with some precision and speed.
  • The ability work with some initiative and little supervision.
  • Ability to organise, support and appropriately document meetings ensuring timely and quality outputs.
  • The ability to cope with situations where there is an emotional demand arising from the work being undertaken.
  • The ability to work flexibly as part of a team environment, providing cover when needed to ensure continuity of service provision.
  • Experience of handling and processing manual or computerised information.
