Description

As Customer Operator - Gatehouse you will ideally have previous security/site safety skills.

Qualifications and Experience:

Educated to A level standard with good IT skills including
Excel
Word
Outlook
Microsoft
Previous traffic control and weighbridge advantageous but not essential.
Responsible for the smooth operation of the Gatehouse, ensuring Safety and Security are paramount during everyday activities.
Control vehicles arriving at the Gate:

Physically

via holding area and in conjunction with traffic light system.
System via various calendars that record deliveries and dispatches.
Communication liaising with relevant parties in the event of issues or queries.
Have operational responsibility for the weighbridge: awareness of processes & procedures, controlling documentation, maintenance of the working area (where necessary).
Ensuring visitors/drivers understand the site safety rules and regulations
Participate in the companies safety and environmental programme based on corporate and site standards *Actively promote safety, complying to site policy and procedures, attending site meetings and ensure a high profile on safety standards is communicated to all new contract staff via the induction process.
Assist in the management of safe operation of assets that belong to Estates, ensuring that the work is carried out in accordance with documentation, standards and instructions.
Maintain security key replacements for site, ordering and payment.
Shipping and receipting of Transfer Orders, Purchase Orders and Sales Orders as applicable.

Hours of work are 6am - 2pm and 10am - 6pm. Alternating weeks.
