Pupil Support Assistant
Northgate is a vibrant, multicultural primary school situated very close to Crawley town centre. We are a growing school with 600 children on roll currently including a Specialist Support Centre (SSC) for children with hearing impairment and a further 60place maintained Nursery. The school has recently been graded as 'good' by Ofsted.
We are seeking to appoint a Pupil Support Assistant who can work alongside our class teachers to offer support for our children to help meet their specific learning needs. Applicants will need to be competent in English and mathematics and will need to share our commitment to ensuring that every child achieves their full potential. An interest and/or experience in supporting children with Autistic Spectrum Condition or children with trauma and attachment difficulties would be a significant advantage. Part of the role will include 1:1 work with children who have complex special educational needs.

Salary:
West Sussex Grade 3 plus Crawley weighting £20,812 to £21,189 pro rata
