We are currently looking to recruit a Senior Information Assistant for library services.

You will work with the Libraries Manager and Librarians and be responsible for supervising service points, training staff and promoting library resources to faculties and students.

They should have previous library experience preferably in an academic setting.

The role of the Senior Information Assistant is to ensure efficient and effective delivery of day-to-day Library services to students, staff, and external visitors.

The Senior Information Assistant works in a student-focused team that supports all Library Service activities, supervising and coordinating the work of Information Assistants.

You will manage and coordinate work of Library service points, providing a comprehensive frontline library service and be able to answer a broad range of enquiries, face-to-face, online and by phone.

Supporting students with the use of a broad range of library and IT technologies and services.
