Exciting Senior Public Affairs Manager role based in LondonYour new company
I am currently recruiting for a Senior Public Affairs Manager to join my client's talented workforce.
Based in London, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with inspiring and motivated individuals, who consistently deliver industry leading results.
This is a permanent full-time hybrid position, working a minimum of 2 days a week in the office.Your new role
As a Public Affairs Manager, you will enjoy regular interaction with senior stakeholders in both engineering and government, while going the extra mile to build my client's public profile and political networks.
You will be guiding turbulent political situationsand utilising your team's world-leading expertise to inform political debate on high profile issues.
Driving your engagement with regional and developed governments, you will find creative ways to interact with parliamentarians.- Build productive and respectful relationships with colleagues, partners, and thought leaders
- Manage the Public Affairs and Policy Projects Officer
- Shape and influence political communications to ensure these insights reach the right audiences
- Raise the profile of engineering on the national stage
- Innovate approach methods to achieve policy impact and advance outreach
What you'll need to succeed
- Excellent written and verbal skills with ability to communicate with diverse audiences
- Fantastic knowledge of public affairs, the UK public policy agenda and process, and the UK's public and democratic institutions, including in the devolved administrations
- Experience of developing and delivering a strategic approach to public affairs and influencing activities
- Excellent at building, maintaining and leveraging networks across a diverse range of stakeholders
- Ability to understand complex policy issues and communicate them to a range of audiences
