Description

Our client is one of the UK's largest and most successful construction and infrastructure companies, currently recruiting for a Plumber, to work on a high profile, nuclear facilities upgrade in Devon.

This is an ad hoc, call out position.

Duties include:

Service, repair, maintenance and breakdown of plumbing & heating systems.
Carry out planned and reactive maintenance.
Attend breakdowns.
Carrying out onsite supervision providing technical and practical support.
Fault finding analysis, maintenance and repairs.
Installation and upgrading work on a planned and reactive basis.
Complete works in accordance with specification and current regulations. reparation of the facilities for home matches.
Site reports
Maintenance and repair of the heating systems within all sites, Radiators, etc.
Maintenance of the drainage systems. Alterations to the above with some new installation work. Analyses problem and identifies appropriate tools and materials for repair.
Deliver a high standard of technical expertise.
Operate in accordance with H & S and Quality procedures.
Identify and rectify routine maintenance problems where applicable.
Identify and report common equipment performance issues.

Skills/Experience:

NVQ Level 2/3 in Plumbing and Heating or equivalent
JIB Card
Experience working in a similar role
Experience working on nuclear projects is advantageous but not essential

You will need to be a team plater with strong communication skills.

You will possess security clearance or happy for us to obtain clearance on your behalf.
