Up to £22,308 per annum

Join our team as a Student Experience Officer, playing a pivotal role in ensuring administrative excellence and student welfare. You'll oversee assessments, examinations, timetabling, and compliance, maintaining high standards and supporting students throughout the academic journey. Additionally, you'll assist in planning events, handling registry and visa requirements, and providing support through the Student Support Helpdesk.


ABOUT THE ROLE

  • Assist with the preparation and publication of exam and invigilation timetables.
  • Support with arranging relevant assessments and exams for students, including resits and retakes.
  • Assist with managing the assessment inbox, producing student correspondence and ensuring all assessmentrelated enquiries are answered appropriately and on time.
  • Run daily and weekly attendance reports, to monitor, analyse and report on attendance and for distribution to the Management team.
  • Support with the collection of outstanding student fees and assist with the preparation of information for internal audits and UKVI audits.
  • Conduct and monitor U18 daily checkins, and escalate any missed contact points with the Head of Student Experience.
  • Coordinate the process for student Health Registration, working in collaboration with the local GP practice to ensure that all students are registered on the NHS system.
  • Support with the provision of data requests, by Teesside University, Study Group and the Management Team, or other key stakeholders.
  • Assist with the collection of outstanding student fees and processing of student refunds.

ABOUT YOU

  • Evidenced experience of working in administration (Essential)
  • Experience working with database systems (Essential)
  • Experience working with students in an educational environment is desirable.
  • Knowledge of data protection regulations.
  • Excellent customer service skills (Essential)
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, in particular Word and Excel skills (Essential)
