We are looking to recruit Event Admin & Logistics Officers to assist our operations across prestigious sites in Edinburgh, on event and match days including weekends and evenings. You will be of the highest standard in appearance and communication and will be the face of our business, greeting staff upon arrival.


Edinburgh is a key location for G4S Events - we require Event Admin & Logistics Officers at a range of different venues including sporting venues such as the home of Scottish Rugby Murrayfield Stadium, Easter Road (Hibs F.C) and Tynecastle Park (Hearts F.C).


As well as live event venues such as
Royal Highland Centre - hosting acts such Lewis Capaldi, The Killers, Scottish Festival of Motoring, and Terminal V Festival; the Usher Hall - with acts such as KT Tunstall, Ben Fogle, and Diversity - and outdoor events such as Harry Styles, Beyonce and Bruce Springsteen.

As an Admin Officer, you will be responsible for the full administrative duties required to ensure the operation runs smoothly


This will include:


  • Welcoming the workforce and booking on/off the shift, via google spreadsheet or bespoke app
  • Provide an update to the Ops Manager on the number of staff in attendance, in a timely manner
  • Assisting and directing staff to the briefing area
  • Allocating items of equipment and/or uniform, including radios, jackets, caps, etc
  • Assisting the Ops Manager with any other reasonable duties to ensure smooth delivery

Skills required:


  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Smart and Professional in appearance
  • Excellent administrative and organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload
  • Good attention to detail
  • Strong work ethic
  • Flexible and adaptable; able and willing to work 'outofhours and at the weekends'
  • Admin experience is desired but not essential, as full training will be provided
  • Full Driving Licence and use of vehicle is also desirable.

You will need to be flexible in your availability; with evening and weekend availability.
