Year 5 Teaching Assistant/TA needed for a school in Sunderland

Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant?

Have you had experience in KS2/Key stage two?

Do you have direct experience in Year 5?


Your new 'Good' primary school in Sunderland is seeking to recruit a Qualified Teaching Assistant who can motivate students and encourage children to work independently and collaboratively.

The vibrant and happy school wants someone who can promote and maintain their caring ethos. The school are seeking a highly experienced TA who provides quality care to students.

The role

In your new job you will working in Year 5 in small intervention groups and helping across the whole class.

The right TA should be comfortable with working across the whole class and should be able to provide the Teacher with general assistance.

You will be working full time and the position is to start ASAP.


Requirements:

This job requires a fully qualified Teaching Assistant, with a Level 2/3.

You will also need recent teaching experience within a primary school, specifically KS2/Key stage two.

It is important that you have a strong knowledge of the current National curriculum.

Experience with behaviour management.

Experience working with Special Educational Needs/SEND is desirable, but not essential.

What you'll get in return

You will have a dedicated primary consultant who works in a team of three specialist consultants, who all have exclusive contracts with numerous schools across the North East area.

£70.00-£80.00 per day
