The Centre for Sustainable Energy (CSE) is a Bristol-based national charity that supports people and organisations across the UK to tackle the climate emergency and end the suffering caused by cold homes.

We do this by sharing our knowledge, practical experienceand policy insights.


The Role


Providing administrative support to project teams and project managers in the delivery of HES advice and retrofit projects by tracking, recording, checking customer eligibility for multiple households.

You will also take calls from households and book inretrofit surveys and plans using software solutions and diary management.


Responsibilities include

  • Coordinating HES post requests, collating and printing information to send to households.
  • Coordinating text messages to send to clients who would benefit from our advice services.
  • Coordinating events data across the team and supporting energy advisors with event preparation.
  • General admin support across CSE.
  • Franking post, answering CSE's office phone.
  • Managing the annual leave calendar and requests in a timely manner.
  • Experience of providing administrative support to colleagues and external customers and partners.
  • Experience of customer service.
  • GCSE in Maths and English or equivalent
  • Ability to respond to clients in a respectful and engaging manner.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with people at all levels verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to work in a team and able to identify areas where their skills complement others.
