Looking for an exciting new role? A job where you can make a difference every day? Look no further as we're looking for people like you to join our team in Yeovil to support a female client with LD/autism.

Our fantastic community team are looking for a caring, creative and enthusiastic individuals to join them as female Learning Disability
Support Workers on a permanent basis. We are particularly looking to recruit people part time who would like to work in the evenings and weekends (after 4pm and then onto a sleep in).

The Role


Enable Support Services are a busy housing support and care at home service, as a Learning Disability
Support Worker no two days are ever the same; you'll be part of a friendly team which supports an individual female with Learning Disability.

Your main aim will be supporting the individual with their day to day needs which include shopping, finances, cooking, appointments, personal care, laundry and housework.

This lady receives support on a 2:1 basis. You must be female yourself and have a driving licence and a car.

You will also work with clients in the Yeovil community so there will be a variety of different types of client for you to work with.


You will receive excellent training, opportunities for development and have a helpful team behind you to support you every step of the way.


About you
We'll pay you for your full induction and up to 15 hours of mandatory training. We will give you all the practical skills you'll need.


All we'll need you to bring is;

  • Confidence to lone work
  • Good communication and organisational skills
  • A positive attitude with a willingness to learn
  • Ability to do sleep ins

Shift Patterns


As we're dedicated to providing around the clock support tailored to the needs of the individual, shift patterns can vary and include alternate weekends and public holidays.

However, we will ensure that your rota is balanced.


Our sleep-ins are not included in your contracted hours, so you'll receive an additional sleepover payment of
£65 per night for each sleep-in worked.
