About the role:


This role is an exciting opportunity if you are looking to develop your career within a high-performing PR Team at a leading global law firm.

You will be joining the Corporate Affairs team providing a strategic and integrated approach to the firm's externaland internal communications.


You will have the responsibility to drive PR for a key division and have the opportunity to work on exciting projects and gain amazing exposure.

The Corporate Affairs team is growing and you would be welcomed into a friendly team of collaborative and inclusiveindividuals.


Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Working collaboratively with PR colleagues on media outreach for strategic initiatives and sectors, such as, ESG and Technology
  • Managing the planning and implementation of the communications aspects of marketing and business development campaigns
  • Engaging and advising with global departments and stakeholders of all levels, providing advice, identifying media and content development opportunities
  • Manage significant announcements for particular practices and groups, liaising with local marketing colleagues as relevant, including deal announcements and lateral hires
  • Work to increase the firm's reputation as the goto firm for insightful commentary around key legal and commercial issues that can help support the firm's specialist offerings
  • Proactively target news opportunities and forward features among national broadsheets, key sector media and legal journals
  • Provide PR support for relevant events and thought leadership projects
  • Work to reinforce the firm's standing as an employer of choice, promoting positive employer stories, with a particular focus on diversity, equity & inclusion and social impact

Your experience:

  • Proven experience of working within a busy press office environment, ideally within a professional services organisation or at agency level
  • Professional, diplomatic, discreet and can be trusted with sensitive information
  • Successful track record of leading high impact PR programmes
  • Social media savvy and good digital skills in general
  • Excellent writer with demonstrable ability to translate complex material into commercial writing
This role is based at the Linklaters London office with a hybrid working model available.
