Peabodyhas an exciting opportunity for an
Environmental Operative - Grounds Maintenance on a
full time, permanentbasis at our base location on Hailey Road,
Erith, London. In return, you will receive a competitive salary of
£23,700 per annum.

What we're looking for in our Environmental Operative - Grounds Maintenance:

Experience in Grounds Maintenance
Experience working in a small team
Willing to work indoors and outdoors
Have the ability to work in all weathers in an outdoor environments
Have the ability to undertake physically demanding work

What you can expect to be doing as our Environmental Operative - Grounds Maintenance:

Carrying out shrub bed maintenance, including leaf removal, weeding and pruning with either hand tools or machines
Carrying out grass cutting, both with hand and ride on machines
Removing leaves from both hard and soft landscapes areas
Removing litter including drug debris from hard and soft landscape area, including bins
Carrying out weed and pest control
Maintaining water ways including rubbish removal and vegetation control
Providing a parks mobile patrol service, including pitch marking
Checking and maintaining play areas
Removing graffiti using a variety of methods
Ensuring that paths are salted where and when appropriate, and participate in snow clearance activity
Taking part in keep Britain Tidy surveys in variety of ways
Assisting the tree gangs as required
Wearing all Personal Protective Equipment and uniform provided by the Association
Ensuring that Gallions Health and Safety requirements as a landlord, as a service provider and as an employer, are adhered to
Maintaining safe systems of work, reporting noncompliance to the HASWA 1974
