WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We are currently recruiting for Export Officer to join our growing team.

A compliance role working within the Challenger 3 team focused towards export controls within the Challenger 3 programme.

Engagement with key internal & external stakeholders including Company Lawyer, Export Control Manager / Export Control team, external regulators and auditors and key BU stakeholders.

Leads by example and sets high personal standards, attention to detail, thoroughness of approach, and good record keeping including good people and communication skills.

Position Duties and Responsibilities

Reporting to the MIV Programme Lead and Export Control Manager.
Leading with export control project compliance and communication on the Challenger 3 programme.
Understanding and leading on the audit and assurance process ensuring that export control policies and processes are being adhered to across the Challenger 3 project and by associated functions.
Undertake Export Control Investigations, draft Disclosure letters, identify corrective actions close out and lead root cause analysis and lessons learned reviews.
Developing, maintaining and reporting against the export control lessons learnt.
Supporting export control improvement activities.
Maintaining accurate export control records for compliance and auditing purposes.
Inbound / Outbound data controls / management, verification and access controls relating to the Challenger 3 programme.

WHAT QUALIFICATIONS YOU SHOULD HAVE

Security cleared or the ability to attain and maintain a UK security clearance up to SC level
Mandatory
Proven knowledge and understanding of Export Control.
IT competent.
An understanding of international export control regimes.
An understanding of international export control regulations including ITAR, EAR, OCCAR.
Knowledge of Military Vehicles, Services and its products.
