An exciting opportunity to join the team at Larne Port for 6 months over the summer season as a Customer Operations Agent (Seasonal) working with colleagues to support our diverse range of customers, with an opportunity to build on and enhance a range of skills including customer service.


About the role:

  • To checkin and process all traffic travelling through the Port of Larne (including 3rd party contracts). Both freight and tourist, including accompanied and unaccompanied.
  • As part of the team and under instruction from the duty supervisor, organize the loading and unloading of company and customers vessels, optimising ships turn round times.
  • Process tourist and freight traffic within agreed configurations for loading, checkin and special needs requirements utilising computerized checkin and loading systems. (PHS)
  • To ensure the correct handling of hazardous cargo, high security and abnormal loads, liaising with ship's officers regarding stowage.
