We have a full-time vacancy for a Business Support Assistant whose core focus will be to support the work of our frontline practitioners; enabling them to achieve the best outcomes and ensure timely communications with service users and partner agencies.

This role is countywide and your base location is negotiable


The successful applicant will work as part of a team, supporting children and families across the county through the delivery of high-quality business support services.

Duties will involve a range of tasks including the monitoring of admin mailboxes, distribution of correspondence and reports, records management, training and meeting administration, financial transactions and input of information to the Case Management Systems.

This is a public/customer-facing role, where the statutory English language requirement for public sector workers applies.

Due to our evolving ways of working, the role may require you to work remotely (e.g. from home/other locations).

We work flexibly to most effectively support the people, services and organisations that we support and will discuss this with you during the recruitment process.

There will be a requirement to assist with the delivery of business support within our core business hours, Monday - Friday.

About you
Applicants should have 4 GCSEs (A-C), or equivalent, including English and Maths and have excellent keyboard skills. Experience of working in an office environment would be an advantage. Comprehensive training will be given and once established in the role, opportunities for career development will be available.
