Job description

• Assist with running of all machines, working towards full machine operator
• General factory duties keeping areas safe and tidy
• Assisting other members of staff with manufacturing work

Assist in all areas of stores management

• Ensuring all stock is correctly stored
• Retrieving stock for manufacturing
• Retrieving stock for immediate despatch
• Supporting the annual stocktake
• Operating the forklift for moving materials

Goods in

Assist in all aspect of the handling of goods received, including the

• Operation of the forklift for unloading
• Supporting the booking in process and the placement of goods into store
• Conducting supplier quality tests

Despatch

Assist in all aspect of the handling of goods for despatch, including

• Checking material out of stores based on the order list
• Packing of customer orders
• Entering despatch information onto the computer
• Operation of forklift for loading

Full training is given

Forklift licence is desirable but not essential

Monday - Thursday (we are closed on Fridays)

7.00am - 3pm (15 minute break and 45 minutes for lunch)
