Description

We are looking for a Multi Skilled Operative to join our quarry team at Berkswell Quarry, Berkswell Quarry, Cornets End Lane, Meriden, Warwickshire, CV7 7LH.

The multi skilled role would involve the operation of the Sand and gravel processing plant, operating loading shovel to feed the processing plant and haulage lorries, planned maintenance and weighbridge distribution all working as part of a team.

Training will be provided to maximise individual potential.

Key Responsibilities:

Adhere to and actively promote CEMEX's H&S Standards
Review equipment and production conditions at all times.
Ensure that plant availability is maximised
Ensure a quality operation and materials that meet customers' demands.
Ensure good housekeeping standards are maintained within the department.
Carry out planned maintenance on static processing plant

Skills Required:

Skills Required:

Ideally have a good understanding of Health and Safety policies and procedures associated with quarrying/site operations.
As a minimum, have training and qualifications for operating Mobile Plant (Preferred: Loading Shovel including experience of feeding processing plant hopper and LGV loading)
Be an effective team player that can motivate and inspire other individuals to engage and comply with business policies, targets, goals and standards.
