About the role

Our Health and Early Years Department are looking for an experienced Health and Social Care Lecturer to support our students across the HSC curriculum.

This role will be teaching our T-Level students primarily with a lesson timetable of around 24 hours and the rest of the hours will be planning time etc.

The team are dedicated and well experienced and are excited to welcome a new team member to join an ever growing academy for Health and Early Years.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver and teach health and social care related modules across level 15, to Health and Social Care learners to agreed success targets
Work with the teaching team and NHS colleagues to develop new courses based on sector demand, including T levels.
Maintain quality systems related to the teaching of Health and Social Care related modules including designing work schemes, lesson plans, assessment plans and assessment activities.

Skills, knowledge and expertise

Qualifications and training:

A teaching qualification for this role is required

Skills and expertise:

Experience of T Level delivery is desirable
Experience of working effectively with a wide range of learners with broad starting points, levels of achievement and SEND
Experience of monitoring learners' individual progress, which raises aspirations and enables outcomes which stretch and challenge original expectations through differentiation within group teaching.
