IT SYSTEMS ADMINISTRATOR JOB SUMMARY:


This is a fantastic opportunity for a IT / technically minded individual who is looking for further progression within a
SoftwareSupport /
IT role, or, for someone who is looking their next step in their career in IT and is keen to work in a collaborative team, where on the job training is offered.


The
IT Systems Administrator will be responsible for installing, supporting, configuring, and maintaining internal systems and reports, with a primary focus on software solutions / systems.


RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Logging, monitoring, and updating tickets on the IMS (internal management system)
  • Managing and configuring software and hardware
  • Setting up new user accounts and access permissions
  • Update and create Qlik / SQL / ODBC reports.
  • Maintain systems and monitor performance.
  • Create and maintain technical documents, manuals, and IT policies.
  • Work with the wider IT team on adhoc projects and other associated implementation projects
  • Update and manage security across access controls, backups, and training.
  • Support internal users on a number of internal CRM systems and other associated software / systems troubleshoot, train, update etc.

KEY SKILLS / EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:


  • Previous experience of working in an IT team, within either a business systems / IT support or similar role.
  • Previous experience of MySQL, ODBC, Qlik, Jaspersoft would be ideal, but not essential, with other transferrable skills in mind.
  • A technical mindset, genuine interest in IT and the ability to work collaboratively within a small team essential
