Group Financial Controller - Hybrid

Oxfordshire

T2M are delighted to be recruiting this Group Financial Controller role for a market leading international manufacturing and distribution group.

This Private Equity backed company has enjoyed rapid growth and continues to make strategic acquisitions presentinga great opportunity for a Group Financial Controller to make significant improvements to financial reporting and process improvements.

Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer you will lead and develop a team providing a high quality financial reporting and control function

You remit will include:

Statutory accounting and returns for all group companies
Group Consolidations for the three main trading businesses
VAT and Corporation tax returns
Working capital and treasury management
Direct line responsibility for three divisional finance managers and a Group Accountant
Ensure robust and consistent financial controls and procedures are in place across all operating companies
Involvement in the financial processes integration of newly acquired businesses
Key point of contact for external auditors

To be successful in the role of Group Financial Controller you need to be:

Qualified Chartered Accountant who is fully up to date with IFRS reporting
An experienced Financial Controller with group reporting skills ideally gained in an international manufacturing business
Someone who thrives in an environment where there is significant opportunity to improve financial controls and processes
Able to get into the detail but remain strategic and able to resolve issues with sustainable solutions
Great team leadership and people development skills
Able to plan effectively and meet deadlines
Excellent communication and influencing skills
Strong IT system knowledge, ideally experience of MS Navision with proven ability in delivering insightful analysis.
