Senior Software Developer / Engineer (C++ Linux) London / WFH to £150k+


Are you a Senior Software Developer with trading systems experience? You could be progressing your career in a hands-on role working on intellectually and technically challenging projects as part of a supportive Agile team.


As a Senior Software Developer you will use strategic thinking to improve systems and deliver world class financial software solutions to a global client base with a focus on the Risk platform.


You will architect, design and develop systems for trade capture, position management and profit / loss computation - these systems are highly performant, reliable and capable of dealing with vast quantities of data.

You'll focus on making performance improvementsto uptime, reliability, robustness, distribution and scalability working with Agile TDD methodologies.


WFH Policy:


You'll be based in modern, open plan offices with all the latest kit and 360 views of the City with flexibility to work from home one day a week.


Requirements:


  • You have extensive backend software development skills with C++ including multithreading
  • You have a strong knowledge of low level UNIX / Linux including Linux Kernel
  • You have experience of optimising low latency, realtime systems
  • You have a thorough understanding of Computer Science fundamentals such as OOP, Data Structures and Algorithms
  • You're a collaborative team member with strong communication and interpersonal skills, happy to mentor others
As a Senior Software Engineer you will earn a competitive salary (to £150k) plus bonus and benefits.
